Festante best absolute result

NOGARO – The first race weekend of the French F4 championship brought a positive 9th place for Aldo Festante in Race3 and so the first 2 points added to the overall classification, as result of an important improvement by the Italian.

Due to some technical issues during the free practice the race weekend started pretty badly for Aldo Festante, who managed anyways to recover and to get at least some positive results during the week end.

In Race 1 Festante lost some positions from lap 6 due to a contact with another car, finishing up in 14th place in the overall classification, while Race 2 was influenced by a mechanical issue which relegated the Italian in 15th place.
Race 3 has been a positive one instead. Started in 13th place Festante made a great recover and then finished in 9th place, adding important points to the overall standings.

“It’s been a very tough weekend that we ended up with a good P9 in the last race, the speed was not very good and we will for sure work on it. We had several problems in the free practice, a crash in race one and a mechanical problem in race two, which made everything harder for us. Despite that we manage to achieve two points, which mean a good starting point for the next race in Monza”.

With that spirit Festante is getting ready to the next event, the second round of the French Season, that will take place at Monza on 29-30th of April.
