Bittersweet weekend for Festante

Oct 8, 2018 | F3

JEREZ – The penultimate stage of the Euroformula Open championship held in Jerez was marked by a measurable improvement of Festante, only obscured by the accident that took place in Race 2. The balance of the weekend is still satisfying, despite the fear for the young Capua native driver who fortunately came out unscathed by the clash in the second round of the Spanish stage.
The seventh stage of the Euroformula Open championship was held at Jerez from the 6th to the 7th of October. An animated stage for Festante, who brings home a good tenth place in Race 1 and a nasty exit in Race 2, caused by a collision between him and another driver, who has literally sent Aldo against the nearby guardrail. Great scare then for the young Capua native driver who fortunately was unharmed from the clash. However, the race left a sour taste,
Caused by the fact that Aldo could bring home a good result, given the positive performance showed in the second round of the Spanish stage.
Despite the bad luck, which also felt heavy in this session, Aldo is satisfied with the results obtained in Spain, where the pilot has shown he has made great strides compared to the previous rounds. Now all that remains is to work hard, to finish the last championship race in the best way possible.

You can follow the live streaming of the race on the official Youtube Euroformula Open channel. Always check the Festante Facebook page to stay up to date.
