AT PAUL RICARD SECOND ROUND OF THE GT OPEN CUP
Le Castellet – Aldo Festante is back on track for the second stage of the GT Open Cup, on the famous Paul Ricard circuit. After the amazing Hungarian weekend, the Capua native pilot is ready to fight again for the top step of the podium.
The second round of the GT Open Cup will take place from the 20th to the 23rd of August, on the Paul Ricard track in France. Aldo Festante’s new adventure could not have started better: in the first stage in Hungary, the pilot managed to conquer the first and the third place in the ranking. The race of the weekend will see Aldo to compete on a circuit he already knows, having battled there several times during his sporting career. Festante, driven by the positive momentum gained at the Hungaroring, aims again for the top of the standings, confident in his abilities and certain that he will no longer be slowed down by the thrill of participating in a new championship with new rules. As always, the work with the team was rigorous, in fact, after the Hungarian success, they immediately started working together to determine which parameters were to be improved to be even more competitive and make Festante’s presence on the podium a constant in all the races of the championship.
“I’m sure this weekend will be very challenging, Paul Ricard as a circuit doesn’t really favor Porsche’s features and the handicap time due to the results in Hungary will make everything a bit tougher. We’ll do our best to have and give fun”
