The Italian-Canadian driver faces another triple header weekend following last week’s Spa-Francorchamps round. On the technical Dutch circuit, the focus will be on continuing the adaptation work with the #28 Porsche 911 Cup (992.2) run by Target Competition.

Zandvoort (NL), 20 May 2026 – Aldo Festante’s season enters another particularly intense phase as the Italian-Canadian driver returns to action already this weekend aboard the #28 Porsche 911 Cup (992.2) fielded by Target Competition for Round 3 of the 2026 Sixt Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland at Zandvoort.

Following the recent Spa-Francorchamps event, Festante now prepares a triple header commitment, marking his third consecutive race weekend. A demanding period, but also an important opportunity to increase mileage and continue his development path in the highly competitive Porsche one-make championships.

The Dutch circuit represents a very specific technical challenge. Located among the dunes of the North Sea coast, Zandvoort is well known for its fast corners, constant elevation changes and narrow layout, all factors requiring maximum precision and strong confidence in rhythm management. Festante already competed at the circuit during the 2024 and 2025 seasons, but the main target this weekend will once again be to continue building experience and feeling with the new Porsche 911 Cup (992.2).

“We arrive at our third consecutive race weekend and we are definitely starting to build an important rhythm,” said Festante. “Zandvoort is a very technical and unique track where precision and timing really make the difference. We have worked a lot over the last few weeks and I’m confident this weekend can help us continue our development path.”

Track action will begin on Friday 22 May with Free Practice from 10:45 to 11:45, followed by qualifying from 17:20 to 17:55. Race 1 is scheduled for Saturday 23 May at 11:28, while Race 2 will take place on Sunday 24 May at the same time.
